Delete your FootSkiller account

This page explains how to delete your account and personal data in FootSkiller (the footskiller.eu website and the mobile app). It applies to players and parents.

How to delete your account yourself

Sign in at footskiller.eu or in the mobile app.
Player: open Profile → Password → My data and account deletion. Parent: open Profile → Password → My data and account deletion; you can also delete your child's account there.
Choose Delete account…, enter your password and confirm.

You will receive a confirmation email with a link to cancel the deletion.

Can't sign in, or you are a coach or secretary?

Email info@footskiller.eu from the address the account is registered with (or state it in the email) and write "delete account". We may verify your identity. We handle requests within one month. A legal guardian can ask for the deletion of their child's account the same way.

What happens after you request deletion

The account is deactivated immediately and any recurring subscription payment is cancelled.
For the next 14 days you can cancel the deletion with the link from the email and the account is restored.
After 14 days the account and related data are permanently deleted. Before that you can download an export of your data (same place in your profile).

What is deleted

Profile and sign-in data (name, username, email, phone, date of birth, settings).
Training data: lesson progress, XP, streaks, assigned trainings, onboarding answers.
Profile photo and generated player cards.
In-app notifications and device tokens for push notifications.
Links to parents, team and club.

What we must keep and for how long

Payment records held by the payment processor (Stripe) for the period required by accounting and tax law. We never store card numbers.
Delivery details of shipped goods orders (name, address, phone) for 24 months from shipment because of possible complaints, then we erase them.
